Evolution Seated Knee Walker Set-Up and Operating Tips

Set-Up and Operating Instructions  - Seated Knee Walker

Steering Column Set-up
Raise steering column and simultaneously push the lever at the base of steering column to the left and downward to disengage the pin. Push the steering column upward until it is in the full upright position. Release the lever to engage the safety pin. Pull the lever downward so the end of the lever is pointing towards the ground to lock the steering column in the upright position (rotate the lever counter clockwise to loosen and clockwise to tighten the pressure on the lever).

To lower the steering column: Pull the lever up to release the clamp and unlock the steering column.  Then, simultaneously push lever left and downward to disengage the pin. Gently guide the steering column downward.

Handle Bar Height Adjustment
The best position for the handlebar is about hip-level. You can raise or lower handlebars by loosening the screw knob on the steering column, adjusting handlebar height, and retightening the screw knob.
Seat Setup and Adjustment
To setup the seat and/or adjust its height, remove the scooter pin and place the seat at the desired height then reinsert the pin. Pull the lever downward so the end of the lever is pointing towards the ground to lock the seat in the desired position (rotate the lever counter clockwise to loosen and clockwise to tighten the pressure on the lever.)

Operation
Place hands on the handlebars.
While seated place heal of injured leg on the foot peg
Release the parking brake and propel yourself forward or backward with your pushing foot.
