Posterior Walker - Drive KA5200-2G Nimbo - Adult Size (US/CANADA)
Nimbo Posterior Adult Walker - US/Canada
The Nimbo Adult Size Posterior Walker is a mobility aid designed to support users who require stability while walking but benefit from a posterior (rear) support position. The Nimbo Posterior Adult Walker provides stability to a patient as he/she improves walking ability. This posterior walker is height adjustable, has lockable swivel wheels and is designed to be used in the posterior position.
With Nimbo's Directional Lever you can select “forward and reverse” or “forward only” movement. Nimbo's easily-installed accessories enhance the walkers capability to provide additional support and stability where needed.
This model is engineered with a heavy-duty steel frame, easy-grip handles, and reliable rear wheel configuration that allows for controlled movement and safe ambulation. The walker’s ergonomics encourage proper gait mechanics and can be especially helpful for individuals with neurological conditions, vestibular deficits, or general instability. Many users appreciate the intuitive design that supports natural walking patterns and reduces compensatory movements that can lead to fatigue or discomfort.
In general, reverse walkers refer to any walker where the user pushes from behind rather than in front. They are often recommended by physical therapists when improved posture, balance support, and safe weight distribution are clinical goals. These devices contribute to increased confidence and independence for individuals with mobility limitations.
