The TCA1916 is a compact, lightweight transport chair with a 19″ seat width and a 300 lb weight capacity. Its high-strength aluminum frame weighs only about 19 lbs (without footrests), making it easy to fold up and carry. The chair’s back folds down via a back-release hinge, allowing flat, compact storage and easy transport — useful for caregivers loading it into vehicles or storing it when not in use. For safety, it includes push-to-lock rear-wheel brakes.

The TCA191612 is a variation of the TCA1916, but with larger 12″ rear wheels and hand-activated brakes in addition to rear-wheel locks. Larger Rear Wheels make it more capable on uneven surfaces — useful to get over thresholds or when using outdoors. It retains the same lightweight aluminum construction (about 20 lbs) and foldable, compact design as the standard TCA1916.

For comfort and safety, both transport chairs include padded full-length armrests, a seat belt, and swing-away composite footrests with heel loops,  making either one a good choice for older adults, occasional mobility users, or as an easy-transport chair for caregivers.

Because of their lightweight designs and relatively narrow profiles (about 22–23″ wide open, narrowing to ~9″ when folded) they are both well-suited for elderly users or occasional mobility assistance — i.e. someone being pushed rather than self-propelling.
