Seated Scooter Walker, Used
Certified Pre-Owned KneeRover Seated Walker-Scooter - The Evolution
CAUTIONARY NOTE:
Seated scooters are NOT for EVERYONE. Particularly, elderly users may find it difficult to operate a Seated Scooter due to insufficient leg/core strength, agility, or balance.
Returns are costly; we request customers to review these questions before ordering our Seated Scooters:
- Does my Doctor or Therapist approve of my using a Seated Scooter?
- Am I able to lift my injured leg over the Seated Scooter's crossbar (in order to mount/dismount the Seated Scooter)?
- Do I have sufficient strength in the hamstring muscles (back of the thigh) of my "good" leg so that I can both push and pull the Seated Scooter?
- Do I have sufficient core strength to keep my balance when seated while pulling/pushing with one leg?
- Am I able to raise and hold my outstretched arms in front (while gripping and turning handlebars) for extended periods of time?
If you are unsure of a Seated Scooter's suitability, please call to discuss your questions (931-241-6262). Depending on your projected recovery time, you may wish to consider Renting a Scooter. If you suspect that a Seated Scooter will NOT work for you, a Transport Chair is an excellent alternative.
